Having said that I once won a task in the Europeans by going all alone at the second gate, and making it to goal quite a few minutes faster than the gaggle, who took the 4th gate - but that's likely an outlier.Dansk paraglidinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14253149775308556354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5536800479553578852.post-46738444716750608202019-09-11T05:34:54.950-05:002019-09-11T05:34:54.950-05:00Another idea.

If you are within a certain distance of a gaggle *but not leading* you start losing your 100 points. So you can keep them by either leading on a given line, or trail blazing on your own line.

Or something to this effect.

I've had this RyanMnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5536800479553578852.post-81365476094503862822019-09-10T16:22:23.538-05:002019-09-10T16:22:23.538-05:00Good to hear from you. I think we should try speed-runs where we swop lead out points for departure points on a linear time scale.Andrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15374638263463440953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5536800479553578852.post-66092474509637254352019-09-10T05:17:19.781-05:002019-09-10T05:17:19.781-05:00Hi Puppy I couldn't agree more - it's simp...Hi Puppy I couldn't agree more - it's simply not as elegant, although much more efficient, to be great at gaggle flying rather than great at tiger lining. Kudos for sticking with being you, I tried the same last week in Áger to little avail :-D

So how do we accomplish the much-needed change?Dansk paraglidinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14253149775308556354noreply@blogger.com
